Free insulationIf you are in receipt of benefits and own or privately rent your home you may be entitled to free insulation if your home needs it. Ring us on 0800 512012 if this applies to you. If you live in Carlisle and are in one of our current "Hotspots" you are entitled to free insulation regardless of income. Free Benefits Check If you are over 60 you may be entitled to a free benefits check to make sure you're getting everything you're entitled to. This includes people who aren't in receipt of any benefit at the minute. If this applies to you, or someone you know, then when you ring to ask for energy efficiency advice ask for a free benefits check too and we'll refer you to a specialist for help. Fire Safety CheckIf you live in the Carlisle City Council or Eden District Council area you can ask for a free safety check when you ring for energy efficiency advice. We will refer your details to the relevant fire station who will arrange for a visit to make sure you have a fire escape plan should you be unfortunate enough to have a fire. |
